The Elmore community is rich with opportunities for individuals to get active, get social and get involved.

1st Elmore Scout Group

The 1st Elmore Scout Group provides a program of activities designed to enable youth members an opportunity to gain a wide range of experiences, equipping them to be responsible citizens of the future.
Cub age is 7 to 10+years. Boys and girls welcome.

1st Elmore Scout Group meets at the Elmore Scout Hall, Monday 4pm-5.30pm.

Campaspe Run

Campaspe Run provides visitors with an interactive agricultural museum, tourist information centre and souvenir sales. Open daily (except Christmas Day and Good Friday) from 9.30am – 4pm. A dedicated team of volunteers run and staff the centre.

Colbinabbin Clay Target Club

Elmore Event Centre (enter via Strawhorn Road) Clay target shooting competition held at 12 noon on the 4th Sunday of the Month (except April 25 ANZAC Day), and the 2nd Sunday in December.

CWA

Elmore Branch of the Country Women’s Association of Victoria A working group for the betterment of women and children. Working for charitable causes. The Elmore branch of the CWA meets at member’s homes at 11am on the last Thursday of the month (except December).

Elmore & District Doctor’s Residence

 The Elmore and District Doctor’s Residence Committee of Management maintains the Residence that is owned by the Elmore and District Community for a Doctor to live in the township. The Committee of Management meets quarterly (Feb/May/Aug/Nov) on a Wednesday Night at 7.00 pm at the Vic Hotel, Elmore. The date and time for the next meeting is set on the night of the quarterly meeting.

Elmore Community Hub

The Elmore Community Hub is a place for the community to connect, create and celebrate. A place for meetings, information sessions, workshops, classes and celebrations.

Elmore District Health Service Auxiliary

The Elmore District Health Service Auxiliary works to raise money to purchase equipment for the Elmore Medical Practice. The Elmore District Health Service Auxiliary meets two monthly on the 2nd Tuesday.

Elmore Events Centre

Elmore Events Centre is a unique facility, ideal for hosting a diverse range of events including exhibitions, equestrian competitions, music and food festivals, vehicle rallies, markets, industry and trade expos, product launches and demonstrations, club or community events and so much more.

Elmore Lions Club

The Elmore Lions Club is a community group that helps and supports the local community. The group is active through fundraising, providing long weekend coffee breaks and lots more. The Elmore Lions Club meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Contact Rhonda Whiteman for venue details.

Elmore Progress Association Inc. (EPA)

The Elmore Progress Association was formed on the 26th May 1890 with the aim ‘To foster, protect and conserve the political, municipal and social privileges of the township and district.’ Today, the Progress Association exists to foster, promote and encourage community wellbeing for the benefit of Elmore and District, to represent the plans and ideas of the community and to research and to nurture these plans and ideas to bring them to fruition, to print a weekly community newsletter, to establish and develop a museum and to encourage employment opportunities within Elmore and District. New members always welcome. The EPA meets at 7.30pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Elmore Community Hub.
